CPR classes teach life-saving skills that can increase survival rates during emergencies like cardiac arrest. They boost confidence in handling critical situations, help others in need, and may be required for certain jobs. CPR training also often includes first aid knowledge, providing broader emergency response abilities.
Library programs are free and open to all. The class size is limited to 8 participants, so pre-registration is required. If the class is full, the library staff will put you on a waiting list for a future class. CPR and first aid classes are made possible by a generous grant from The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation.
